Phantom (2002)

Mammootty plays Paily, a man whose fearless exploits have earned him the nickname "Phantom", after the masked comic-book hero who seems to be everywhere at once. He lives in the high ranges of Kerala, where his reputation alone keeps bullies in check, and the film follows him as old enemies and new threats force him back into the role of protector. It is a commercial Malayalam action drama built around Mammootty's star image, with family sentiment and comic interludes alongside the confrontations.
