F2: Fun and Frustration (2019)

Venky, an easy-going personal assistant to a politician, marries the confident Harika and finds that married life means living under the rule of his wife and her formidable mother. Varun, who is about to marry Harika's younger sister Honey, watches with growing alarm and soon finds himself just as bossed about. Fed up, the two men decide to rebel and take off for Europe, hoping for some freedom; their wives and family are not far behind, and the battle of the sexes moves to foreign soil. F2 is a broad family comedy that leans on Venkatesh's comic timing and his easy chemistry with Varun Tej, and it became one of the biggest Telugu hits of Sankranti 2019. Its success led to a sequel, F3, in 2022.
