Arasu (2007)

Arasu is a Kannada romantic drama directed by Mahesh Babu, a Kannada filmmaker not to be confused with the Telugu star. Puneeth Rajkumar plays a well-off young man who has lived abroad and whose return home brings him face to face with love, family responsibilities and the values he has to learn, while his heart is caught between two women played by Meera Jasmine and Ramya. The film blends romance, family emotion and action in the style that made Puneeth one of Kannada cinema's best-loved stars, with songs by Joshua Sridhar.
