Laila Mar Gayee — Uttar Dakshin (87')

A Hindi film song from the 1985–1999 stretch of Bollywood playback — the years in which the orchestral arrangements of the early eighties gave way to the Nadeem-Shravan and Anu Malik sound, and in which a handful of voices sang a remarkable share of everything released: Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan and Anuradha Paudwal between them appear on well over half the tracks in this collection. "Laila Mar Gayee", from the film Uttar Dakshin (87'), sung by Anuradha Paudwal.
