Nanna Prakara (2019)

When a woman is found dead and her identity is not what it first seems, a seasoned police officer begins an investigation that keeps doubling back on itself. Each witness offers a different version of events, and the case gradually connects with the life of a doctor and her family. The title means "In my opinion", and the film plays with point of view, showing how the same facts look different depending on who is telling the story. Kishore, known for his intense supporting roles, takes the lead as the investigator, and Priyamani plays a central role in the mystery. It was a debut feature for director Vinay Balaji and was well received as a tightly plotted Kannada crime thriller.
