Naagam (1985)

Naagam is a Tamil snake film from director Rama Narayanan, who became famous for devotional and animal-centred movies in which snakes, elephants and monkeys play key roles. Arjun, early in his career, and Ambika play the leads in a story where a serpent becomes part of a human conflict of love, betrayal and revenge, in the manner of the popular Naagin-style films of the period. It circulates in Hindi as Naagraani.
