Achanak (1998)

Achanak ("suddenly") is a 1998 Hindi thriller starring Govinda and Manisha Koirala, a rare suspense role for Govinda at the height of his comedy stardom. The story turns on betrayal within a marriage and a scheme that puts the hero's life and fortune in danger, leading to a battle of wits and survival. The film did not make a big impression at the box office, and its details are not widely documented, so this page keeps to the basics.
