Shailaja Reddy Alludu (2018)

Chaitu is easy-going and patient, the opposite of his father, a man whose ego dictates every decision. He falls in love with Anu, who turns out to be just as proud, and her mother Shailaja Reddy, a formidable figure who rules her village, is prouder still. Getting married means making all of them bend, and Chaitu must handle every clash with tact and trickery. Maruthi's comedy builds on ego clashes between families, with Ramya Krishna, fresh from her Sivagami role in the Baahubali films, playing the imperious mother-in-law. It was released around Vinayaka Chavithi in 2018.
