Arya is the cheerful son of a wealthy, close-knit family. When he falls for Geetha, a young woman from a village household with its own pride and old grudges, the romance soon becomes a test of whether two families can make peace. Arya sets out to win her relatives over one by one, while a feud and a violent rival complicate his efforts. The film is a glossy Kannada family entertainer in the classic style, mixing romance, songs, comedy and festive wedding scenes with action set-pieces. It was the second film of Nikhil Kumar, son of former Karnataka chief minister H. D. Kumaraswamy, and pairs him with Rachita Ram, with Tamil star Sarathkumar in a key role. Director A. Harsha is also a well-known dance choreographer, and the songs are staged on a large scale.
