The hero comes from an ordinary family but dreams of the glamorous life, so when he gets into an expensive college he reinvents himself as one of the wealthy crowd. The pretence wins him attention, friends and romance, but it also pulls him away from the people who knew him before, and keeping the act going becomes harder with every week. Middle Class Love is a youthful romantic comedy directed by Ratnaa Sinha, who earlier made Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana. It was produced by Himesh Reshammiya, who also composed the songs, and it launched Prit Kamani, Eisha Singh and Kavya Thapar as film leads. Released in 2022, it is light and music-driven, aimed at a young audience.
