Description

Shaayad ("perhaps") is a 1979 Hindi drama directed by Madan Bawaria. Its cast pairs mainstream star Vinod Mehra with Naseeruddin Shah and Om Puri, then at the start of their careers in the parallel cinema movement. It is a serious, small-scale film of the kind that flourished alongside the big commercial pictures of the late seventies.
