Balu (2005)

Balu seems an ordinary young man in Hyderabad, caught up in a sweet romance with the heroine, played by Shriya Saran. But a shadow hangs over him: in another life he was Ghani, a fearless figure who once fought a dangerous gang, and when that past resurfaces he must face it to protect the people he loves. Pawan Kalyan, already one of Telugu cinema's most popular stars, is supported by Shriya Saran and Neha Oberoi, with music by Mani Sharma. Director A. Karunakaran had earlier made the Pawan Kalyan romantic hit Tholi Prema, and Balu again gives the star plenty of romance alongside the action.
