Dharma (2004)

Dharma is a 2004 Kannada action drama starring Darshan, made in the period when he was establishing himself as a mass hero after Majestic and Kariya. He plays the title character, a young man quick with his fists and stubborn about justice, whose life takes a turn when love enters it; Sindhu Menon and Nanditha Jennifer play the women in his story. The film combines romance, family emotion and action, with Darshan's rough-edged screen presence at its centre. It is mainly of interest to fans of the actor's early work.
