Fatso! (2012)

Naveen is happily engaged to Nandini when he dies in a road accident. In the afterlife it turns out his death was a clerical mistake, and the only way to return him is to put him into the body of his best friend Shubhi, a lonely, overweight man. Back on Earth, Naveen has to live as Shubhi, unable to tell Nandini who he really is, while watching her grieve and learning what life has been like for his friend. Directed by Rajat Kapoor, the actor-filmmaker known for quirky independent films such as Mithya, the film mixes gentle fantasy and comedy with a melancholic look at love, loss and how people are judged by their bodies.
