Description

Tyagi ("one who sacrifices") is a 1992 Hindi action drama directed by K. C. Bokadia, the producer-director who made several Hindi films with Rajinikanth. Rajinikanth leads the cast, with Jaya Prada and Bhagyashree, who was then fresh from Maine Pyar Kiya. As the title suggests, the story centres on a man who gives up his own happiness for his family and stands up to the people who wrong them. It is a typical early-1990s Hindi masala film of emotion and action, and is of interest to fans of Rajinikanth's Hindi career.
