Satya arrives in Kurnool as an idealistic government doctor, but the town lives in fear of Guru, a ruthless strongman whose men answer every challenge with blood. When Satya tries to do the right thing and is humiliated for it, he learns how little a stethoscope can do against such power. He leaves, and comes back years later as a police officer, determined to break Guru's hold on the town using the law and his fists. Along the way a lively radio jockey brightens his life. The Warriorr was shot as a Telugu-Tamil bilingual and marked the Telugu debut of Tamil director N. Lingusamy, known for Run and Sandakozhi. Ram Pothineni plays both sides of the hero's journey, while Aadhi Pinisetty makes an imposing villain. Devi Sri Prasad's songs, including the dance number 'Bullet', were popular on release.
