Abrahaminte Santhathikal (2018)

Derick Abraham is a senior police officer known for his integrity and his fierce protectiveness towards his younger brother Philip, whom he has raised. When a woman is murdered and the evidence points squarely at Philip, Derick is faced with an impossible choice between his duty and his family, and he sets out to discover what really happened even as the investigation threatens to destroy them both. Abrahaminte Santhathikal ("Abraham's children") was written by Haneef Adeni, who had earlier directed Mammootty in The Great Father, and was the debut of director Shaji Padoor. It was a solid hit in 2018, praised for Mammootty's restrained performance.
