Mehbooba (2008)

Mehbooba is a romantic drama in which a young woman becomes the object of affection of two very different men, a smooth charmer and a quieter, sincere admirer, and the revelation of their connection turns romance into rivalry. Ajay Devgn, Manisha Koirala and Sanjay Dutt lead the cast. The film was shot in the late 1990s and early 2000s but spent years stuck in production troubles, finally reaching cinemas in 2008, by which time its look and stars belonged to an earlier era. Ismail Darbar composed its lush soundtrack, one of the main reasons the film is remembered.
