Raju Gari Gadhi (2015)

A television reality show offers a big cash prize to whoever can survive a week inside Raju Gari Gadhi, an abandoned mansion that villagers swear is haunted. A mixed group of contestants moves in, each with a reason to need the money, and the cameras roll as strange noises turn into terrifying events. Soon it is clear that something in the house wants them gone, and that some contestants have secrets of their own. Directed by television anchor Ohmkar, the film mixes scares with broad comedy and became a surprise hit, leading to Raju Gari Gadhi 2 with Nagarjuna and Samantha and a third instalment.
