Raheem, a young man, is found dead after falling from a train, and the case is closed as suicide. CB-CID officer Shivalingeswaran is asked to look into it again, and at the same time his new wife begins to behave strangely: Raheem's restless spirit has possessed her and will not leave until his killer is found. The investigator must solve the case with a ghost as his most demanding witness, while a petty thief played by Vadivelu provides the comedy. A pigeon that Raheem loved becomes a key clue. Shivalinga is P. Vasu's Tamil remake of his own 2016 Kannada hit of the same name starring Shivarajkumar. Raghava Lawrence leads, and Ritika Singh, the boxer-actress from Irudhi Suttru, plays the possessed wife.
