About Finest FM
Branded on air as Finest FM, this is Finland's only Estonian-language radio station, set up by the Estonian DJ and sound engineer Argo Lepik for the large Estonian community living around Helsinki. It started as an internet stream in November 2013 and moved onto FM in early 2020, reaching Helsinki on 98.5 MHz and Hyvinkää and the Kanta-Häme region on 94.4 MHz from a studio on Uutiskatu in Helsinki. The music is a mix of international dance and pop with Estonian hits, including a 100 percent Estonian music slot on Saturdays and a dedicated Estonian Music Hour. Between the records come news from both Finland and Estonia and Estonian-language talk about expatriate life.
