For Here or to Go? (2015)

Vivek Pandit has done everything right: he studied in America, works for a big software company in Silicon Valley and is settling into life in the Bay Area with his friends. When an exciting health-tech start-up offers him a job, he discovers that his visa and the long wait for a green card stand in the way, and that he may have to choose between the life he has built and going back to India. Around him, friends and housemates face their own versions of the same uncertainty, and a romance with Shveta, a fellow Indian-American, raises the question of where home is. For Here or to Go? is a gently comic independent film drawn from the real experiences of Indian tech workers in the US, with Ali Fazal in the lead and Omi Vaidya in support.
