Rajeev is a clumsy door-to-door salesman of water purifiers who badly needs a sale. One Friday he lands at the home of Gagan Kapoor, a theatre actor who is busy juggling an affair while his wife is away. Rajeev's arrival sets off a chain of lies, disguises and mistaken identities, and as more people turn up at the house the deception grows ever more unmanageable. The film is a classic one-location farce in the tradition of stage bedroom comedies, and it was billed as a return to comedy for Govinda, paired here with Varun Sharma of Fukrey.
