G Storm (2021)

G Storm is the final film in David Lam's Hong Kong series of corruption thrillers that began with Z Storm, continuing through S Storm, L Storm and P Storm, all starring Louis Koo as the incorruptible investigator William Luk. This time Luk is drawn into a case involving a ruthless smuggling and human-trafficking ring, and the trail leads to officials who should be on his side, sending the action from Hong Kong across the region. Like the earlier films it combines investigation, betrayal and large-scale shootouts, with Julian Cheung and Michael Miu among the cast. Fans of the series will enjoy seeing Luk's long fight against graft brought to a close.
