Gaalodu (2022)

Gaalodu (a Telugu word for a loafer) is a 2022 Telugu action romance starring Sudigali Sudheer, the comedian and television host, in a leading-man role, with Gehna Sippy as the heroine. Sudheer plays a carefree village youth who is forced to leave home after a quarrel ends in a death, and who hides out in the city, where he falls for a young woman from a well-off family. His past soon catches up with him. The film was a hit for Sudheer and helped him move from television comedy into lead roles.
