Gajakesari (2014)

Krishna is a cheerful young man with a deep bond with elephants. As he gets caught up in a romance and a quarrel in the present day, he learns of an extraordinary past: a story from centuries ago about a valiant warrior and a royal elephant, which seems to be connected to his own destiny. Gajakesari ("elephant lion") is a 2014 Kannada action fantasy that marked the directorial debut of cinematographer S. Krishna. With its period flashback, elephant sequences and grand look, it was one of Yash's most ambitious films before the K.G.F. films made him a pan-Indian star. Amulya plays the heroine and veteran Anant Nag a key role.
