Ganesh is a small-time crook with big ideas who, together with a friend, pulls off a theft that is larger than anything they have tried. Needing a place to hide the loot, he slips it into a Ganesh idol, only for the idol to be taken away for the festival, leaving him to chase it across town while gangsters, rival claimants and a politician with plans of his own also close in. Anand Deverakonda, younger brother of Vijay Deverakonda, moves from the gentle comedy of Baby and Middle Class Melodies to a crime caper. The film was the debut of director Uday Bommisetty.
