Gandhigiri (2016)

Gandhigiri takes its title from the term made popular by Lage Raho Munna Bhai for fighting injustice the Gandhian way, through non-violent, often comic protest. This 2016 film directed by Sanoj Mishra uses that idea for a satire about corruption in everyday Indian life, led by two fine character actors, Om Puri, in one of his late roles, and Sanjay Mishra. It is a small, message-driven film whose chief appeal lies in its veteran cast.
