Garibi Hatao (1973)

Garibi Hatao ("remove poverty") is a 1973 Hindi film that takes its title from the slogan that dominated Indian politics after the 1971 general election. Padma Khanna, a popular dancer and actress of the 1970s, leads the cast with veteran character actor Murad and Rajvansh. It is a small production of its era, and few further details are widely documented.
