Rajinikanth, named after the superstar, is so forgetful that he loses track of what he is doing in the middle of doing it, and his lapses have already cost him a marriage proposal. When he falls for Vandana, he and his friends work hard to keep his condition hidden from her and especially from her suspicious father, while a rival suitor waits for him to slip up. Ghajinikanth is a Tamil remake of the Telugu comedy Bhale Bhale Magadivoy (2015), and its title combines the memory-loss hit Ghajini with the hero's name. Arya plays the lead with Sayyeshaa, in a light romantic comedy.
