Godse (2022)

A well-off businessman returns from abroad hoping to set up an enterprise that will create jobs at home, and runs straight into a wall of bribery and red tape. Some time later a man calling himself Godse seizes a group of politicians and senior officials and threatens to kill them unless his demands are met. Police negotiator Vaishali, played by Aishwarya Lekshmi, is brought in to handle the crisis, and the standoff becomes a long argument about corruption, unemployment and the people who profit from both. Godse reunited Satyadev with director Gopi Ganesh Pattabhi after their well-received crime film Bluff Master (2018). It is a talky, angry thriller that rests on Satyadev's intensity.
