Gorilla (2019)

Jiiva plays a smooth young con man in Chennai who drifts from scam to scam with his friends, played by Sathish and Yogi Babu, while also trying to win over the woman he likes. When they meet a struggling farmer who needs money badly, the group comes up with a plan to rob a bank, and their unlikely partner in the heist is a chimpanzee called Kong. What follows is a caper full of slapstick, with the chimp stealing many scenes. Gorilla was promoted as the first Indian film to feature a trained chimpanzee in a leading part; the animal came from Thailand, where its scenes were shot. Shalini Pandey, known from Arjun Reddy, plays the female lead, and Sam C. S. composed the music.
