Goutham is the bored heir of a vast business empire who has everything except a sense of who he is. Nanda is a working-class man with the same face, who carries the burdens of his family's poverty. When the two meet, they agree to trade places for a while: Goutham wants to know what life without money is like, and Nanda gets a taste of luxury. The swap soon draws both men into dangers neither expected, from family betrayals to enemies who want the fortune. Goutham Nanda gives Gopichand a double role in a stylish mass entertainer from Sampath Nandi, who later directed him again in Seetimaarr. S. Thaman composed the songs, and the film is known for its glossy look and action set pieces.
