Gulaebaghavali (2018)

A hoard of treasure is said to lie hidden under a temple in a village called Gulaebaghavali, and the secret draws together an unlikely crew: an idol thief played by Prabhu Deva, a slick young con woman played by Hansika Motwani, and a seemingly respectable woman, played by Revathi, who turns out to be a hardened swindler herself. Pursued by gangsters and each other, they set off on a chase full of double-crosses and slapstick. The film takes its title from a famous 1955 MGR fantasy but tells its own story. Revathi's unexpected comic turn as a con artist was one of the most talked-about things about it, and Vivek–Mervin's songs added to the fun.
