Karthik falls for Shruti, a pretty girl he sees at a friend's wedding, and asks for her phone number. The number he is given actually belongs to Shravani, a sharp, independent software engineer, who plays along with the mix-up; their phone conversations and her sense of humour slowly win him over, without his knowing who she really is. When the truth comes out, Karthik has to work out whom he has really fallen in love with. Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde ("my heart has slipped away"), the debut of director Vijay Kumar Konda, reunited Nithiin and Nithya Menen after Ishq and was another hit for the pair, with popular songs by Anoop Rubens.
