Dr. Shiv Sharma is told that his daughter, a medical student, died by suicide, but the details do not add up. He turns to Yusuf, a cynical, bribe-taking police officer, and together they start digging into her last days, which leads them into a powerful racket that buys and sells places in medical colleges and is prepared to kill to stay hidden. The story echoes the real admissions-and-recruitment scandal that shook Madhya Pradesh in the 2010s. Written by Zeishan Quadri, co-writer of Gangs of Wasseypur, the film pairs Sachin Khedekar's grieving father with Barun Sobti's morally grey cop, and it was released directly online in 2020.
