Haram (2015)

Balu is a restless, self-absorbed young man who meets Isha, and their romance grows into a marriage. Over time, small resentments, loneliness and different needs pull them apart, and the film follows Balu through love, separation and the attempt to understand what went wrong. Haram is told in an unhurried, intimate style and relies on Fahadh Faasil's nuanced performance, opposite Radhika Apte in one of her Malayalam roles. It is a quiet urban relationship drama rather than a conventional romance, and it found more appreciation over time among viewers who like realistic stories about modern relationships.
