Description

Heer and Hero borrows its title from the legend of Heer and Ranjha, Punjab's most famous love story, and gives it a modern spin: a young man and the woman he loves must fight family opposition and dangerous rivals to be together. Arya Babbar, son of actor Raj Babbar and a regular in Punjabi films, plays the hero, with Minissha Lamba in one of her few Punjabi roles and Gurpreet Ghuggi providing comedy. Directed by veteran Ravinder Peepat, it is a straightforward entertainer of romance, songs, fights and humour.
