A small-time crook makes a living snatching phones in Chennai. One day the handset he grabs comes with an uninvited extra: the restless spirit of a young woman, who now refuses to leave him alone and wants his help with unfinished business. His marriage plans, his friends and his life all go haywire as the ghost makes herself heard. Hello Naan Pei Pesuren ("hello, the ghost speaking") is a broad Tamil horror comedy produced by Sundar C., whose Aranmanai films set the template for the genre. Vaibhav plays the hapless hero, Aishwarya Rajesh and Oviya share the female leads, and a gang of comedians including VTV Ganesh and Karunakaran keep the scares light.
