Ali and Sameer are two easy-going students who need a subject for their final film project. They decide to make a road movie and take on the task of delivering three letters written by Indian soldiers who did not come home. The journey across north India brings them to the families left behind, and each family's story, told in flashback with stars such as Salman Khan, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Preity Zinta, shows them what war costs the people who wait at home. Samir Karnik's film is an emotional tribute to soldiers and their families, mixing humour, road-trip adventure and patriotism.
