Hijack (2008)

Vikram Madan is a maintenance engineer at an airport who has quietly raised his daughter alone. When a plane she is travelling on is seized by armed hijackers demanding the release of a jailed militant leader, the government stalls and the crew and passengers are left at the terrorists' mercy. Vikram knows the aircraft better than anyone, and with the help of an air hostess on board he decides to take matters into his own hands. Hijack is a hostage action thriller in the tradition of Hollywood's airborne siege films, and one of Shiney Ahuja's few action leads.
