Hostel (2011)

Hostel follows a fresher who arrives at a professional college full of hope and soon finds himself at the mercy of senior students who treat ragging as their right. The humiliations grow more cruel, the authorities look away, and the film examines how fear and silence allow abuse to continue. Vatsal Sheth, Tulip Joshi and Mukesh Tiwari lead the cast. Director Manish Gupta made the film as a message against ragging, which had caused several tragedies on Indian campuses.
