Hubballi (2006)

Hubballi is a 2006 Kannada police action film that reunited Sudeep with director Om Prakash Rao, who had launched his stardom with Huchcha, and paired him with Rakshita. Sudeep plays a fearless, short-tempered police officer whose posting in the north Karnataka city of Hubballi sets him against gangsters and their political protectors. The film mixes hard-hitting action with romance and family scenes, and it is one of several uniformed roles that helped shape Sudeep's mass image.
