Two friends in Mumbai love practical jokes, and life is one long game until Shabana walks in. Both are drawn to her, and what begins as harmless flirting turns into a contest of tricks, disguises and double-crosses in which nobody is quite sure who is fooling whom. Shabana turns out to be far sharper than the men chasing her, and the comedy keeps flipping the balance of power between the three. Director Sagar Ballary had earlier made the cult office comedy Bheja Fry, and here he moves into broader, more slapstick territory built around the comic pairing of Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade, both then known for ensemble comedies. Minissha Lamba gets the rare role of the clever schemer at the centre of the plot rather than the prize.
