I Love Me (2012)

I Love Me is a Malayalam thriller from 2012 directed by B. Unnikrishnan, mixing romance with a twisting crime plot. Two ambitious young men, played by Asif Ali and Unni Mukundan, are looking for a way to make it big, and an encounter with a beautiful young woman (Isha Talwar, in one of her early Malayalam roles) and a shrewd older man played by Anoop Menon sets a dangerous chain of events in motion. Nobody is quite what they seem, and loyalties shift as the stakes rise. The film was one of Unnikrishnan's attempts at a slick, youthful thriller and is of interest for its young cast, several of whom became leading names in Malayalam cinema.
