Idi: Inspector Dawood Ibrahim (2016)

Jayasurya plays a mild, nervous policeman cursed with the name Dawood Ibrahim, which makes everyone expect a hard man. Posted to a troubled place, he tries to keep his head down, but a series of events forces him to face local criminals, with Sshivada as the woman he falls for and Joju George among the colourful supporting cast. Idi, short for Inspector Dawood Ibrahim, was the debut feature of Sajid Yahiya and mixes comedy with action as the coward slowly finds his nerve.
