Madhusoodhanan is an ordinary IT employee hoping to marry the woman he loves, and his companion in trouble, played by Soori, is a struggling dubbing artist. A chance encounter on a bus throws both men into contact with Chotta, a dangerous terrorist on the run who is planning attacks in the city, and the police come to believe the two are his associates. Hunted by the police and the terrorist alike, they have to clear their names and stop the plot. Ippadai Vellum is a chase thriller with comic touches from Gaurav Narayanan, director of Thoongaa Nagaram and Sigaram Thodu. Daniel Balaji plays the menacing villain and Soori brings comedy to the dubbing-artist role. It released in November 2017.
