Jaan (2025)

Jaan ("life" or "beloved") is a 2025 Bhojpuri action film starring Arvind Akela Kallu, a popular singer-actor of Bhojpuri cinema, with Nidhi Jha as the heroine. It follows a familiar village-masala pattern: a love story challenged by powerful people, family pressure, and a hero who answers with his fists, interspersed with the songs that are central to Bhojpuri films. Few other details of the film are widely documented.
