Jaathre (2016)

Jaathre ("village fair") is a Kannada film starring Chandan Kumar, the television actor who moved into films, with Aishwarya Nag. Set against the colour of a rural festival, it mixes romance with a story of local power and injustice in which the hero has to stand up to those who run the village. It is a modest rural action drama in the familiar Kannada mould.
