Jadon Bohal Ronde Han (2022)

Jadon Bohal Ronde Han is a Punjabi drama rooted in farming life. A bohal is the heap of threshed grain in a farmer's yard, the reward for a season's labour, and the title imagines those heaps weeping, an image of hardship, debt and disappointment in the village. The film is a small, plain production featuring Ajmer Singh Aulakh and Jagtaar Aulakh, told in rural Punjabi idiom. Little is documented about its making, so this page keeps to its premise and setting.
